1 · Your staples

2 · Your week

Monday

Chicken breast: Lemon or lime - a squeeze over the cooked plate, right before eating

Rice: Fresh herbs - chopped spring onion or parsley folded through

Green vegetables: Smoked paprika + garlic - a dusting before a final minute of heat if you can

Tuesday

Chicken breast: Pranasalt sachet - tear one sachet over the plate - six tastes in one move

Rice: Vinegar + black pepper - rice vinegar or balsamic, sparingly, while warm

Green vegetables: Lemon or lime - a squeeze plus a little zest over the top

Wednesday

Chicken breast: Chilli flakes - a pinch over the top, more if the day needs it

Rice: Mustard - half a teaspoon whisked into the warm portion

Green vegetables: Pranasalt sachet - one sachet over the plate; it wakes plain vegetables up first

Thursday

Chicken breast: Fresh herbs - torn coriander, parsley or dill over the finished plate

Rice: Smoked paprika + garlic - a dusting tossed through while warm

Green vegetables: Chilli flakes - a pinch, added while still hot so the heat blooms

Friday

Chicken breast: Vinegar + black pepper - a few drops of good vinegar, then coarse pepper

Rice: Lemon or lime - a squeeze plus black pepper, folded through while warm

Green vegetables: Fresh herbs - torn basil or mint - raw, never cooked in

Same choices, same plan, every time - it's a rotation, not a roulette. Cook everything plain and in batch as usual; the plan only touches the last three seconds of each plate.

Why this works

Bland prep has two causes: the flavour carriers went with the calories, and repetition dulls whatever taste is left. The rotation attacks both - every finish in the matrix carries taste without meaningful energy, and the daily change stops any single finish from going stale. The full reasoning lives on how to make cutting food taste good and food boredom.

If your week leans on protein, the high-protein meals page explains why those plates go boring first, and low-calorie seasoning has the honest numbers on every option in the rotation.

How does the flavour rotation planner work?

Pick the staples you actually prep and choose a 5- or 7-day week. The planner assigns each staple a different finish each day - lemon, chilli, herbs, vinegar, mustard, smoked paprika, or a Pranasalt sachet - from a fixed rotation, with a one-line note on how to apply it. Same choices always produce the same plan: it's a rotation you can rely on, not a random generator.

Why rotate flavours instead of finding one good seasoning?

Because repetition dulls anything - the same finish every day becomes wallpaper within a week, however good it is. Rotating a handful of near-free finishes keeps the same batch of food tasting different day to day, which is what makes eating the same prep sustainable.

Do I need to buy anything to use the plan?

No. Most finishes in the rotation are things already in your kitchen - citrus, vinegar, chilli flakes, mustard, dried herbs. Pranasalt appears in the rotation as one finish among seven, because that's what it is: one good move in a rotation, not the whole answer.

Does the planner store my data?

Nothing leaves your browser. There's no sign-up, no email gate, no analytics on your choices - the plan is computed on your device and disappears when you close the page.

Will rotating flavours change my calories?

Not meaningfully - that's the point. Every finish in the rotation carries taste with almost no energy: acid, pungency and dry spice rather than oil, sugar and sauce. A Pranasalt sachet is about 0.2 kcal. Your plate's numbers stay yours; only the taste moves.
