What does it do for me?

What does it taste like?
Salty, with a sour tang from dried green mango, heat from chilli and mustard, and a savoury note from asafoetida and fenugreek.
What is actually in it?
95% Himalayan rock salt and 5% spices: chilli, fenugreek, dried green mango, mustard, asafoetida and sesame, plus a little wheat flour that carries the asafoetida. The printed pack lists the same ingredients.
Are there allergens?
Yes: mustard, sesame and wheat - a little wheat flour carries the asafoetida. If any of these are a concern, please skip Pranasalt.
Is this an Ayurvedic recipe?
It's built on Ayurveda's six tastes - sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent and astringent - with Himalayan rock salt and six spices in our own proportions.
Can I still cook the way I do?
Yes. Cook the way you like - with salt or without, your call. Then tear one sachet over the plate: you know the salt it adds, 0.92 g.
Will I get too much salt?
Each 1 g sachet contains 0.92 g of salt. Count it in your daily salt total, like salt from any other food.
What's the nutrition per sachet?

Is it lab-tested?
Yes. Eurofins, a UKAS-accredited lab in the UK, tested our launch batch for heavy metals and microbiology. Salmonella and Listeria were not detected.
